Hello, my name is Alli. I am glad you have made your way to this page, and I am looking forward to getting to know you!
We all experience difficulties in life, and it can be challenging to navigate struggles on our own. Asking for help is an important part of this process, and I am glad you have found me in your search. I have over 7 years of experience working with individuals through their darkest days, and I strongly believe that everyone can make positive change in their lives.
My clients say that I am caring, trust-worthy, understanding, and direct when need be. I find humor to be a crucial part of the therapeutic experience, and I believe that the relationship that we form as therapist and client is the most important aspect of our work together. My approach is person-centered, affirming and validating, and strengths-focused. I provide a safe and supportive space to discuss and process your experiences in your own time, in an environment where you will never be judged. As a fellow trauma survivor, I enjoy helping people heal from trauma, while learning skills to continue to keep themselves safe. I believe that there is hope for a full and meaningful life regardless of your past experiences.
I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (12890), a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (23415). I have experience in the field of counseling working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings, including psychiatric residential treatment, assertive community treatment, and community outpatient treatment. I specialize in working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use issues.
I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, a unique trauma processing form of therapy that focuses on diminishing the unpleasant feelings associated with traumatic memories.
I currently offer Individual Therapy and I am accepting new clients at this time.
